By default, Windows XP will warn you when installing drivers that haven’t been tested by Microsoft with the following message.
“The software you are installing for this hardware: “hardware name” has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP”
This message is displayed to prevent the average Joe from installing potentially dangerous drivers. But sometimes it appears even when you install drivers from the hardware manufacturer. If you’re tech-savvy and regularly like to install drivers that are not supported by Microsoft in Windows, this message may start to annoy you after a while. Fortunately, you can disable the message with the following steps.
1. Right-click My Computer.
2. Click  click Properties.
3. Click the Hardware tab, then click Driver Signing under Drivers.

4. Click Ignore – Install the software anyway and don’t ask for my approval.
